What’s Your Power Persona?

Do you know why people aren't buying from you?

Do you know why you aren't attracting the right clients to your business?

Because there's one thing that's quite common that it could be and I see it a lot in the online world.

I like to call it the curse of Brand Personality Disorder

And what I mean by this is the inconsistency in your message that causes people to disconnect.

And there are three things you can do about this straight away, to turn your message from hot mess to clear and compelling.

Number 1 Vision

Define a clear vision for your brand.  It’s one of the first areas we cover in my Brand Attraction Program and you’d be surprised how many people have a muddy vision that doesn’t inspire or connect with their tribe.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Where are you going?

  • How will you be remembered?

  • What are you contributing?

  • What movement are you creating?

People need to know where you are going if you are asking them to come along for the ride.

Number 2 Values

Values say a lot about who we are. Our values are who we are, when nobody's looking, they are something that doesn't change, and they have to be lived as behaviours.


You have to be clear and intentional about your brand values and please don’t just pick some generic wishy washy “we stand for quality” type values, put in some work and make them count.

Questions to ask

  • what do you stand for?

  • how do you do things when you are at your best

  • What won’t you compromise on?

Your values will attract the right people if you're consistent, and you show up in the same way with the same values.

Number 3 Voice

Your voice directly relates to your values and should be harmonious everywhere you show up. I notice a lot online, particularly when people use copywriters that there is this complete mishmash between who somebody really is and how they show up in their communication.  I know you’ve seen it, the effervescent friendly witty AF online personalities that you suddenly see on video and they are COMPLETELY different. And the thing is, people can smell bullshit a mile off, we don’t want fake. We want to know who you really are or we won’t trust you.  That’s why I LOVE brand archetypes for nailing this piece and aligning your voice to who you really are.

So if you want to rise above the shoutiness online, if you want customers to become obsessed with you and only you.  Get clear on your Vision, Values and Voice...and don’t compare yourself to strangers on the internet.

Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.
